are tehy worth a crap... my mustang came w/ ecsta supra's and they SUCK..... HARD a stock stang shouldnt break the tires loose stomping on it at 3 grand in 1st....
what are some good tires i can get in a 245/45/R17 or 275/40/R17?

275/40R17's. the wider the better look for some tires from the make on this list and i'll see what kind of price i can give you. prob be able to get you a better price than any1 else.

ill get crappier tires if they are wider... but if i can get some nice tires that grip in a 245 i wont have to deal w/ the roll of the sidewall...

yeah i know andy does and yes the ones i have are loud as crap i hate these tires... might have to "wear them down"

get the goodyear f1 gs-d3's and be happy! then buy an extra set of used stock rims with mickey thompson et street radials and be happier...

I broke stock axles with only a 4k dump on mt et street radials! LOL. I'd say they hook pretty good.

im getting the F1 GS that my friend has right now... they are about 1/2-2/3 used up tho. but at 40 bucks for two tires that are 275/40/R17 i cant complain.

alright so someone explain again...245 would be the side wall? or is it 45?, now the Z 17 would be speed rating and rim size...245 is the width and the 45 is the side wall? or do I have them backwards?
I have some BFG KDWS 245/45/zr17 95w m+s for sale...400...

245/40ZR17
245 is the Tread Width 40 is the "series" which is usually the percentage of the treadwidth, so the sidewall is 40% as tall as teh tread is wide.... Z is the speed rating R is for Radial 17 Stands for the Wheel Diameter
