you do know that in the new super street a cobalt won the time attack with very little engine mods and some suspention just mostly adjusted the weight. beat out all kinds of cars, srt-4, skylines, rx7s, sti's...

it also had the largest company in the world backing it w/ a bazillion dollars worth of R&D thrown at it...

all you would have to do is read up on what they did and you could have the same set up ... but anyways its all good.

lol well u think u "hung" with me but no. haha if you think that was all out. then your just a little wrong. i do this thing now to where i'll pull u a car and then just stay there. no need in unleashing the beast on unworthy ecotecs. yea your car is fast for what its got done. but lets look at the weight diff. u weight what at the most 3000-3500 lbs right?? and yea i weight in at a massive 5500 lbs. ooo and don't forget who has the nice big heavy 22's as well. but u should come to the track thrusday. i'm going to try my best at hitting 7's don't ask how but you'll see on thrusday. its gonna be so much fun.

ooo and BTW just keep in mind who runs the low 8's and who runs the low 9's. on motor u and me are abt even. you may get me top end but thats cause i have the aerodynamics of a brick wall. but who cares its a truck. and i'm pretty happy with it. but i'm looking into building something bad already looked out the parts. might be either an evo stroked out to 2.5 running a GT42 i believe 9500 RPMS and 44 PSI. which will be good for 900+ all wheel HP or a turbo busa got the money ready just need to decide.

Cobalt SS > Mustang GT
Theres something wrong when a four cylinder can dyno as much WHP as a V8 off the lot stock for stock...
and is nitrous the only way you guys can get power?

Theres something wrong when a four cylinder can dyno as much WHP as a V8 off the lot stock for stock... I can see how a factory blown 4 cyl could put down as much power as a factory v8. No secret there... and is nitrous the only way you guys can get power? no but it's the cheapest!

when i bought my mustang last week i was deciding between a 05 Cobalt SS Supercharged and my 04 Mustang GT.... the Cobalt was Slower, louder, and less comfy to drive... and it cost a little more... and yes it can dyno as much as a v8 does HP wise... but people forget that hp is a calculated number which is derived from the amount of TQ that an engine makes... and the SS should put roughly 180ish down while the stang should put down 230-240ish... and you can feel everybit of it.
but thats just my take on it as i enjoy both "sport compact" and "american muscle"

and is nitrous the only way you guys can get power? Nitrous is the best bang for the buck by far.

nitrous is easy to install and as long as your not doing something like spraying a 200 dry shot its pretty safe... yes if you set things up wrong you WILL blow it up but thats if you are dumb enough to set it up wrong.
